“A quick and convenient stop over.”

The spot was great for our detour to Glasgow, and the bar food was hearty and good value. We slept well in a quiet setting, and the supermarket across the street was super handy. The decor and vibe felt a touch tired, though.

“Suitable for overnight stays.”

The rooms weren't huge, but they had enough space for our needs. The on‑site restaurant was convenient and offered reasonable meals; we were told some items were fresh, yet they turned out to be frozen. The hotel seemed to run with a very limited staff who were multitasking, and there was no choice for cooked breakfast. It would have been nice to have more options. The breakfast generally used poor‑quality products, and items like the haggis were overcooked, leading to food waste.

We were greeted warmly at reception, and the room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The staff were excellent, and the location was great.

Great property for a wee stop over close to the border. Staff were lovely, room was comfortable and the bathroom was newly renovated. Free parking and on site pub was nice. Room was slightly outdated and the walls were a little thin but nothing that affected my stay
