It’s definitely a new campsite, so the chalets have all the necessary comforts for a good stay. Even though the chalet we chose didn’t have a kitchen, it still came with a drying rack, towels, a broom, and a mop for cleaning the floor. There were dishes, glasses, cutlery, mugs, pots, a colander, and even a moka pot, plus a small kit with dish soap and sponges, which I really appreciated. The pools were fine but not very large and the water was shallow everywhere. The extra services were essential—a small bar and a barbecue area—so it’s a minimal campsite. It’s not close enough to walk to the beach, and in September there’s no shuttle and no entertainment. The pillows were too big, so we asked for two thinner ones to sleep well. They have the potential to become a great campsite but still need to grow.
The welcome and staff availability were excellent. The costs for bike rentals are a bit high, and a small party on Ferragosto would be a nice addition.
“Urlaub in der Toskana”
The place was clean and well-equipped, but I hardly got any quiet at night.
The campsite is great, with excellent services, clean pools, bathrooms, and overall very tidy. The only downside is that the tents are completely in the sun, but everything else is perfect.
“Se siete in tenda andate altrove!!”
The campsite offers a huge pitch, friendly staff and a free shuttle to the beach, but I was staying in a tent, not a caravan. Although there are many pitches, the facilities are sorely lacking—only four sinks for about seventy pitches, and the toilets and showers are cleaned at odd hours (around 8–8:30 am and again in the evening). There’s no shade; they simply left a lawn for us to camp on, and the site isn’t lit except at the entrance and by the bathrooms. The term “agricampeggio” is confusing, and the beach is actually more than a kilometre away, not the distance advertised. For tent campers, there’s no communal fridge for perishables, although the bar kindly kept our ice.
