A young woman at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helped me fill out the visa form for Malaysia; she was very helpful.

The hotel sits right in the city center, close to the hospital and the market, making it easy to get around; the overall vibe is good and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

I only stayed one night, but it was excellent: the bed was comfy, the room spotless, the owner was welcoming and helpful, and the cats were adorable; the spot is great, and the owner can arrange a taxi to the port and assist with the migration paperwork for Malaysia.
