I really enjoyed the dinner, my dog loved the host, and the location was within walking distance of town, shops, and the beach, so I didn’t have to leave for three days. I didn’t dislike anything.

The place was very pretty and comfortable, the staff was great and very welcoming, the property is clean and right across from the ocean, and parking is easy.

The location is fabulous, the room is clean and smartly appointed, the staff is polite and responsive, and they offer free beach passes and complimentary transportation to local spots and the train station. It would be nice to have some sort of complimentary breakfast, even a cold one, given the summer pricing and two‑night minimum; I noticed most Spring Lake hotels have a two‑to‑three‑night minimum during summer, so I was happy to find the Grand Victorian.
