“Enttäuschend”
We had a very disappointing stay during our honeymoon in early September 2026. We received the room behind the reception. The room felt like a scene from a hidden camera show. The bathroom light was intentional and not skillful. Black stains on silicone seams and the wooden floor. One of the three bathroom switches was occupied. The bathroom fan was very loud; it felt like the Niagara Falls were next door. There was also a constant scratching noise that could be heard even with the bathroom door closed. The place was extremely noisy. Besides that, the cabinets and the AC had so much dust that we wondered when the cleaning crew last worked. To top it off, the bar at the outdoor area failed to greet us, giving a sour impression. We asked for solutions. The proposed fix was to clean the room or possibly give us a different room the next day. Because we had already lost faith in cleanliness, that wasn’t a solution. We went back to reception and asked for another solution. We would have had to move twice during our four‑night stay, which was not acceptable. At reception we were repeatedly told they had offered us a solution, which in our opinion wasn’t a solution, so we tried to resolve the issue with a refund. We wanted to leave, had paid for one night, and would have gone back home to our homeland with a heavy heart. Unfortunately, they explained that the money had already been paid in advance and could not be refunded.
