The staff were friendly and went above and beyond what I expected, the hotel is dog‑friendly and the food was good, though the mattress wasn’t the most comfortable.

“A nice hotel which served my needs well.”

I was disappointed that the menu on the table I chose from was wrong, but then I received the correct menu, which had smaller portions than the other one.

“lovely but don't forget you are sleeping above a pub!”

The breakfast was really good, but the place was so noisy – the pub stays open late and I was woken up by staff at 0630 while they were prepping breakfast.

“Welcoming, convenient and would recommend”

The staff were lovely and helpful, and everyone did a good job; the location was great for visiting Bressingham Gardens, the Steam Museum, and bird‑watching reserves. The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner, parking was convenient, and the modern bathroom had a good shower. The room had a big double bed that was fine but a bit hard for us, and the Bell pub is lively, so there was a bit of noise in the room in the evenings, but that didn’t spoil the experience.
