Off-grid Eco Farm Dolinka

Very rare accommodation with a kind and hospitable atmosphere. Even though it was only a single night, the locals welcomed me as if I were part of a family. Nothing comes to mind; it was sufficient for my stay.

“Krasny zazitok 🩵”

Unbelievable experience! Accommodation in a beautiful setting surrounded by mountains, wildlife and friendly people. The kitchen was only outdoor but you could get used to it. Rooms were completely clean and nicely equipped. There was no fridge, but there was a cellar at about 10 °C, so that worked. The bath was gorgeous with a beautiful view. We spent all our time on the lodge and its surroundings, and we didn’t feel the need to plan any trips because it was so good.

Wonderful farm run by great people. Nice outdoor kitchen with firewood stoves and rustic furnishings. Adventurous architecture. Honest. Refreshingly unpretentious. Best breakfast with homemade and local products. The drive is indeed challenging – my daughter prefers to walk than to be shaken in a car – but that’s part of the adventure. My kids (and we) have praised the rest of the trip from this special place.

“Svešā zemē, tas nebija to vērts”

I only liked the free parking, the car wash, breakfast, and even the coffee was decent. I wouldn’t recommend it to passing tourists or to anyone staying just one night. It’s a bit rough.
