The Boat House - Isle of Wight

“We enjoyed our stay in spite of the above, the friendly”

Breakfast was very good and the staff were kind and helpful; the hotel’s seaside location is great. However, the bedroom and bathroom needed some work—plumbing issues were addressed, a curtain rail required fixing, and the door closer was not functioning.

The room had a beautiful ambience the moment we walked in.

“Good food, nice staff, decent beer , comfy bed missed breaky as didn’t start til 8:30 🫣”

The room was clean and cozy while I caught up on some admin, the beds were comfy, and the shower was decent.

“Very pleasant”

The service was extraordinary, the room was clean as a whistle and beautiful, and breakfast was marvelous, but the fold‑out bed upstairs was very uncomfortable and needs changing.

“Overall good but shame it was let down by la”

The location was fantastic, right on the beach with an amazing view from our room, yet the cleanliness and maintenance fell short— the bed was falling apart and could have caused a bump at night, there were hairs from previous occupants, and stains on the curtains and rug.
