Friendly and clean, but the parking was an issue.

Close to a local river within easy walking distance and a park, but we left a note on our door to have the room cleaned and it wasn’t done.

The decor was cute, and each room had a different theme – we stayed in “The Dog House.” The room was fairly spartan but had the basics. The location by the Sauk River was beautiful; we enjoyed a great morning walk through the nearby neighborhood and down to the river. The outlets were limited, and the breakfast wasn’t a full spread but it met our needs. The spa looked nice, but we couldn’t see the controls so we didn’t use the jets. We were charged $4.45 more than our price, and $4.64 more than the price on the invoice they printed.

The staff was amazing, very helpful, kind, and friendly. The rooms were great too – love the different themes for each room. No negatives.
