Accessible via paved road, the lodge lies between two national parks, ensuring rich biodiversity and pristine air.

The accommodation is beautiful in the middle of the rainforest, with many birds, excellent food, and very friendly staff and guide. We had a lovely stay and were lucky with the weather.

The lodge is designed for birdwatchers and photographers, offering feeders, free rubber boots, paved and hiking trails, a viewing deck, and more for a full immersion in the cloud forest. From owls to hummingbirds, night monkeys to Agutis, it’s a bucket‑list stop. The service and staff are first‑rate, meals are excellent and include both traditional and vegetarian options, and the on‑site walks/hikes with Edwin, the lodge guide, were amazing! It was a bit hard to find (we missed the dirt‑road turnoff three times because the sign wasn’t obvious), but maybe that’s our fault. Don’t let our experience deter you.
