“Excellent value for money in downtown Cairo!”

We returned for a second stay before leaving Cairo after a great first visit. Dima greeted us warmly and offered drinks, and we were given a free upgrade to a 4‑bed room, which was nice. Overall it was absolutely worth the money. This time, the street market outside can get a bit loud, especially for the room next to the window, and the bathroom had a slight odor.

The room was spotless and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, but the breakfast bread selection was disappointingly limited.

The rooms are spacious and clean, each with a private bathroom, and breakfast is delivered right to your door; the hotel sits in a very central spot, making it one of the most sensible choices for anyone visiting Cairo.

The hotel sits right in downtown Cairo, but the shower had a crane that kept falling, the bed linens were stale, and the receptionist at check‑in came across as somewhat rude.

“Overbooking”

The price was decent and the place was fairly clean, yet we were made to wait two hours at the front desk, then transferred to a less convenient hotel that we reached on foot at 2 a.m.; even though I’d booked two months ahead, all rooms were already full, and we ended up paying the same rate we’d paid at the original hotel, only to be placed in a location with a noticeably lower rating, while the lower price on the booking site was obvious.
