“Beach is Beatiful one of the best in Jamaica just don’t book this hotel and enjoy the beach from another property”
The 7‑mile beach location was the only good thing about the property. The A/C worked, and a short drive to Ricks Cafe (which is why we stayed one night) had nothing to do with the property. We waited over 2 hours for the rooms to be ready even though they knew we were coming and it was booked in advance. The rooms were very dark and dingy; not all light bulbs worked, light switches were exposed and some didn’t work, and there were no good location sockets to charge phones. The night light wasn’t plugged in because there were no sockets, the TV didn’t work, and a musty smell came from the room. There was no running water; pool water looked dirty and still included the hot tub. A sign said the pool was out of action, although we saw locals in it the next morning. A bunch of keys on the key bunch, none of them other than the front door one, concerned you even though there is another locked door in the room. Mould on walls and ceiling with mismatched paint. The fridge wasn’t even plugged in and had a musty smell, so we left it as we found it. Dirty towels; the shower dripped all day and night even though we never used it. My whole group slept on top of the sheets and in the armchairs that had them. Nobody was brave enough to sleep under the duvet. We booked double rooms but some were just single. No hand soap. Not sure how this place passes regulations. A real raw and scary experience if you’re into that.
