The lady owner was very kind and thoughtful in offering us an early check‑in, which we really appreciated. The only downside was that the shower gel was provided for only one person instead of two.

The facility is clean, the staff are very polite and friendly, and it’s close to the best beach on the island.

The room came with a kitchen, so I could cook a bit, and a balcony that made drying clothes easy; just a short walk from the door was a harbor (where you can buy tickets for a boat) and a beach with crystal‑clear water—I wish I’d brought a swimsuit. On the flip side, the seaside guesthouse felt pretty remote; we arrived by taxi after 5 pm, and because an extra person was added to the reservation we had to pay an additional 20,000 KRW per night. After settling in, we headed out for dinner around 6 pm only to find the streets empty, and the nearest shop was a tiny convenience store over 500 m away where we grabbed some instant noodles before heading back.

“Nice sea views. Wished there were more cafes and diners nearby.”

It was very quiet and the higher floors offered great sea views, but the lighting near the carpark entrance was dim.
