The reception was terrible, no breakfast as advertised, hard to find, and the bed springs were in bad condition.

The only bright spot was the spot‑on location right on the city square. But the rest was a nightmare – I’d booked months ahead, yet the hotel had no record of my reservation. When we showed the confirmation, they said the hotel was fully booked but would somehow find a room for us. We ended up in a service‑room that was drafty, unclean, and had no furniture to hang our clothes.

“Пълен провал”

The receptionist was sweet and polite, but the rest of the stay was a mess. The whole place smelled bad, the double room was cramped and uncomfortable, the bathroom drains were clogged, and the bed was old, squeaky and barely slept on. For €47 it felt like a bargain in Gabrovo would be €37 for a room that smells clean, twice the size, with a fridge and everything. I know I chose this hotel, but I wouldn't recommend it even to a friend, despite the friendly staff.
