The spot’s location is solid, but we didn’t get breakfast. The room hit us hot and stuffy right away, and the tub was a real hazard for us older folks. Those stairs in the middle of the living area? Not great for safety.

The room was roomy, and the separate kitchen area was a nice perk. The ensuite had a weird, woofy smell—probably the drain—and the outside courtyard looked a bit tired.

The on‑site cafe served coffee, breakfast, and lunch surrounded by gardens and a rotunda. The humidity was lower than usual for November in Queensland, but the A/C worked perfectly.
