For a lay‑over this hotel works well – the front desk staff all speak English and the shuttle runs around the clock. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy, so sleeping was easy. The only downsides were an ancient hair dryer and towels that had turned a bit yellow, but both can be swapped out if you ask.

The room had fresh linens and a mattress that felt just right, and breakfast served eggs, jam and butter – a solid start to the day. The hotel is right next to Qingdao airport and even provides a shuttle bus. The only hitch was the lack of Wi‑Fi at the airport, which left me scrambling to get the transfer details and dealing with staff who didn’t speak English.

“Convenient”

The room was clean and the bed comfortable, so I got a good night’s sleep. The only annoyance was the faucet that rattled and let you hear the neighbor’s room through the walls.

We arrived after a long layover, caught a mini‑bus at the airport and were shuttled back the next morning without any hassle. The hotel is only a ten‑minute drive from the terminal, and everything inside feels brand‑new and spotless, with a big, comfy bed and a roomy layout.
