The bawa guest Inn

A large, clean room and very friendly hosts. Breakfast was European—egg, toast with butter and jam, banana. The location is a bit hard to reach by car because of a narrow hill road, but it is doable. The room was a little cold because of the rain.

A simple guesthouse with a warm welcome and a breathtaking balcony view. The owners were meticulous and prepared a delicious meal for us. The room and bathroom were very clean. We shared a convivial meal with other travelers, creating a friendly atmosphere.

The guest house sits in a quiet Haputale neighbourhood with fantastic views. The owners were extremely kind and helpful, served a tasty dinner, and picked me up from the bus stand. The owner also drove me to a hiking tour, and we had engaging conversations during the ride. Because no one else stayed in the house, we were given a larger room than booked and had the entire upper floor to ourselves. The interior design didn’t suit my taste, which is subjective, and the bathroom doorknob was noticeably loose.

The owners are charming, assisted us with everything we needed, and treated us wonderfully. The room, while adequate, wasn’t very pleasant; a bit of renovation would make it nicer.

What a wonderful stay, right in the beautiful nature. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us great local tips. We highly recommend this place!
