Located 1 km from Sölden centre, Gästeheim Schmiedhof provides panoramic Ötztaler Alps views, free parking and Wi‑Fi. Some rooms have balconies, kitchens, private baths, satellite TV and hairdryers. Guests enjoy buffet breakfast, ski storage with boot dryer, and a free ski bus 100 m to Giggijoch and Gaislachkogl lifts. Late‑May to mid‑October bookings include an Ötztal Premium Card for transport and cable‑car discounts.

A great spot for a family stay, the hosts were very kind, the rooms were clean and spacious, fresh bread every day, quiet and peaceful. Extra plus: the Ski Bus stop is about 200 m from the building (runs every 10 minutes). Nearby, a good family‑friendly restaurant called Salino serves lunch. Wi‑Fi signal is good. There’s a large parking lot and a ski resort. Getting to the Solden gondola station takes about 12 minutes by Ski Bus, and reaching HochGurgl takes about 25 minutes.

The owners were very nice, the breakfast was tasty, and the transport links were good (Skibus or walking).

Room layout 2 next to each other with individual bathrooms and shared lounge area. Breakfast included. Friendly staff. Ski room and boot room with heaters Provided a hot water flask for my lemsip!. No brew making facilities or access to coffee machine which would be useful
