The property was very nice, surrounded by plants, and the proximity to Diamond Beach was amazing! There are many great restaurants nearby, and the food on site is pretty good too. The room views match the photos. The downside is that the property sits on a rough, bumpy road; although there’s a shortcut through the rice terraces, it can feel scary at night for solo travelers, especially women. This isn’t a major flaw, but I wish it had been mentioned in the listing. The front‑desk woman was friendly, yet every time we paid in cash she claimed she couldn’t give us change immediately, so we had to ask several times. It felt a bit odd, though maybe we misread the situation. We were also quoted a very high taxi fare through the property, and we found a cheaper rate with other local companies, so do your research!
