“Comfy beds, but come to eat here!”

The beds were super comfy and the staff super friendly, but the real highlight was the food—every bite was delicious. Even though it felt a bit tired in some spots, the ambience, atmosphere, and food make me want to come back again and again.

The hotel is cozy in a small town, has an in‑house pub, offers dinner options and vegan choices, and the staff are very friendly and attentive, but the mattress and pillows were unfortunately too uncomfortable for our needs.

“Lovely few days….. we enjoyed our stay.”

The spot is great, the staff are friendly, and the food is solid. I also enjoyed the lounge and its games. The shower in room 18 was disappointing—no pressure, even though there’s plenty available for the bath. I’d have appreciated milk being refilled and clean mugs after use.

“Comfortable hotel with good food and friendly staff.”

Breakfasts were superb, freshly cooked and tasty; evening meals were excellent, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was a good size and comfortable, though the carpet was slightly stained and worn.
