Stunningly beautiful, atmospheric apartment in an old house where we spent 10 unforgettable nights. It was one of the best, coziest, most wonderful places we’ve ever stayed during our many years of traveling. The house feels like a movie set, right in the heart of German‑Austrian life, with an authentic farm vibe. The apartment was very clean, warm, and had everything needed for comfort. The kitchen had a range of cookware and appliances: a good stove with a large oven, microwave, kettle, big fridge, various pans and pots. The bathroom had a hair dryer and hot water ran without interruption. Heating worked well, so the house stayed warm. The bed in the bedroom was very cozy, the living room beautiful, and the balcony with blooming geraniums offered a genuine alpine view of forest and pasture. We enjoyed every second! The hosts were very welcoming and responsive, met us at the station and drove us back when we left because we had no car—free of charge! Otherwise we walked everywhere, explored many trails and scenic lakes, and the nearby town of Kufstein was lovely. We also shopped in the town of Kiefersfelden, which has several large supermarkets. The Kiefersfelden train station is a 30‑minute walk. The hosts gave us a special guest map that allowed free transport in several zones, from Rosenheim to Kufstein. This trip will stay with us forever, and we hope to return to this amazing house again someday.
