“Absolutely dreadful”
We had high hopes because of the reviews, but the place was far from anywhere and the staff never interacted with us. We wandered around aimlessly waiting for hospitality that never came. We were offered beer, which kept coming—great if you want to get drunk, but there was no tour, no explanation of the brewing process, no snacks with the beer, no music, no atmosphere. The staff avoided us and spoke no English. The food was terrible: we ordered snails based on reviews, but they were dried and flavorless; when I asked about the comparison picture, the staff said no sauce was left and I had to take them away. Instead they gave us pork that smelled so bad we could barely eat it. Breakfast was also very poor, the worst in Georgia that month. We ended up not paying for any food. It was the last night of the season and they should not have had guests. We invited the two men working there to sit with us at dinner instead of in the kitchen; we were bored, drank beer and wine with them, and the only good part was the abundance of alcohol and the use of Google Translate. The bathroom stank because there was no S‑trap on the toilet and no hot water for a shower.
