I appreciated having a room, but a 4 pm check‑in felt too late for afternoon plans, especially when the listing said 2 pm. The previous guests were still in the room when I arrived, so it wasn’t ready until after 4 pm. I asked the cleaner if I could leave my bag at 4 pm and head out, which worked, but the bathroom was barely usable—just enough to pee.

“It's a convenient location to visit UNSW with affordable pricing”

I chose this place after looking at the photos and reviews, and the host answered all my questions with clear photos and explanations, so I knew exactly what I was getting for the price. The location and cost alone would earn me a ten, and overall it was a pleasant stay. I only needed a place to sleep after a day at Vivid Sydney and dropping my son off at UNSW, which is just a ten‑minute walk. The room was clean and tidy. I’ll probably book again because it’s close to campus and the light rail. However, the noise was a problem – we could hear the pub, street traffic, and other guests walking down the corridor, and the door was loud and hard to open and close. The bathroom was okay, but the toilet was clogging, so I mostly showered at my son’s dorm. The front yard could use some care to feel more welcoming.

I spent a single night there and found crumbs on my bedding, plus the room lacked the heating unit I’d seen in the listing.

The place is accessible, spotless, and right near pubs, supermarkets, and public transport. Nothing to complain about.
