Located in Rust, Gästehaus Tante Tienchen sits a 7‑minute walk from Europa‑Park and offers free Rulantica parking. Each balcony‑equipped suite features cable TV, DVD player, iPod dock, living area and optional Wi‑Fi. Guests enjoy a garden with sun‑bathing lawn, children’s playground, buffet breakfast by fireplace, and proximity to shops, restaurants, the A5 motorway, Rhine and French border.

I liked the location, the animals in the garden and the kids’ play area, but the toilets weren’t in the room and that wasn’t mentioned before, so we had to go through the common corridor in the middle of the night with kids. The soundproofing was very weak – I could hear other rooms snoring. There were smoke smells because people could smoke on the balconies and under the windows. The beds creaked and they asked us to pay an extra 10€ if we arrived between 20 and 23h, even though the listing said arrivals were possible from 16h to 23h without any clarification. The green pool didn’t look well maintained, the pumps weren’t running in winter mode, so it seemed neglected. All of this for a high price compared to the services offered.

The hosts were friendly and the place was close to Europa-Park, but the bathroom was located on the hallway outside the booked room.

Die Nähe zum europapark. ca 12 Minuten. Sauberkeit! Betten sehr verstaubt, Ventilator ebenfalls dicke staubschicht, komischer Geruch. Nachts um 2.00 kamen weitere Gäste mit schreiendem baby. ließ sich nicht beruhigen und hat uns allen den Schlaf geraubt. Sehr zu empfehlen vor einem Tag im europapark 👍 alles in allem leider enttäuschend. Einmal und nie wieder
