Modern access to the hotel and rooms via a six‑digit code. The reception was only occasionally staffed, and the breakfast was very plain.

Breakfast was reasonable, a staff member was helpful, and there was good storage for my e‑bike. The room was very basic. The first room was dirty; when I complained the staff apologized and moved us to a clean room.

The reception service and the quick welcome for my dog were great; the price for two nights was excellent for Krefeld near the city centre. The shower and toilet, mattress, lack of a hairdryer, no small fridge, and no possibility to wash clothes on site were all disappointing.

Finding the place was easy, yet I had already paid everything and was asked to pay again – a mistake, and I still haven’t received my refund.
