“Unfriendly & False description”

The bed itself was comfortable. I had booked a 2‑queen room with a hot tub, but when we arrived there was no hot tub; the desk told us those rooms only came with a king. The kitchenette was basically empty—no plates, pans, cups, or silverware, and even the toaster that the listing mentioned was missing. The ice maker didn’t work either. The only solution they offered was a refund for two nights of my three‑night stay and to find another place.

“Clean room, pool and spa closed, no discount. Unfriendly owner, plenty of other choices in town.”

The place was very clean, but the owner and his family made the stay unpleasant. The son could be heard saying, “I hate dogs,” and then telling his 2‑year‑old sister, “I’m going to hit you.” It was awkward, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

It’s a nice hotel overall. The only downside was that the ice machine didn’t work and there was ongoing remodeling construction.

“Pretty much what I expected. A good room for the price.”

I was glad to find the hotel close to the conference, and parking was easy and available, but there was a lot of remodeling happening and a few minor issues with my room.

The room was spotless and set up nicely, and the staff were great and helpful, so overall it was perfect with no complaints.
