“A real experience. OK for an overnight stop”

The place was oddly charming, quirky, and quaint. Staff were polite, friendly, and professional. The hotel was spotless and comfortable, and breakfast was outstanding. The downside was the low ceiling beams in the bedroom that posed a real risk of head injury. The main dish at the restaurant was terrible; the meat was impossible to cut, let alone eat. I told the waitress, she understood, removed the plate, but offered no replacement and still charged me for it.

“Sehr schönes Hôtel mit sehr gutem Restaurant!”

The décor is lovely, the restaurant is excellent, and the staff are friendly. However, the waitress in the dining room was a bit unfocused: she brought the wrong side dish and forgot the cola and tea.

The building’s dining is stunning, carefully arranged. The meals are hearty and delicious. There’s no doubt this is a deal you’ll want to repeat: we’ll be back, thank you Julien. Nothing to note.

The interior is very original, almost like a small museum. The dinner kitchen is exquisitely refined, offering both menu and à la carte options that are impeccably presented. Breakfast in a special setting is also a delight. Virtually nothing to complain about.
