They upgraded us to a great suite, but they told us it was normal to allow a 2‑hour late check‑out. The next day we asked if we could stay another night at the same price, and when we declined they said we’d have to leave at the regular time. I didn’t like that attitude.

The hotel is in the city center, pricier accommodation, but otherwise very good service.

I really enjoyed my stay at Arctic City Hotel; the location is excellent, right in the centre of Rovaniemi and within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops. Having parking available was also very convenient as I was travelling by car. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent with a very good selection. I also liked the atmosphere of the hotel and how easy it was to explore the city on foot. A very good choice in Rovaniemi, and I would happily stay here again.
