Located in the Weltwald arboretum’s 200‑species forest, Hotel Zum Forst offers free Wi‑Fi and an à‑la‑carte restaurant (closed weekends). Non‑smoking rooms include seating area, private bath, TV, desk and wardrobe. Guests enjoy buffet breakfast, a mini‑pony stud farm, game reserve, bike rentals, and swimming at Kranzberger See 3 km away. Near Freising, Weihenstephan brewery, Munich Airport, city centre, and Therme Erding.

Breakfast had a relaxed atmosphere and a tasty buffet. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The entrance to the bathtub from the shower is very steep and not very comfortable, especially for older people and children.

This place felt like a home away from home. It was so clean and cozy. We booked it to be close to the Weinstephan brewery, which was 9 minutes down the road and about the same to Freising. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. But the food was the biggest surprise. WOW everything was delicious but my recommendation is to try anything venison – it is out of this world. Nothing – this place was amazing.
