“Miserable from the start”
The noise from the room above us sounded like they were going to fall through the ceiling; we had to move from a moldy room to a dirty and very loud one, bought an air mattress, and didn't stay the second night. Everything was terrible.
The location was so cute and much nicer than we expected for the price.
“Better than the Holliday Inn”
We asked for a smoking room at the last minute, but after checking in we had to switch because the AC in that room was struggling; it was cleaned well and the filters were clean, just an older model. The woman was very accommodating and sweet, found us a room with a brand‑new AC and it was so cold and nice. Everything was clean and she even placed us at the end of the hallway so going outside to smoke was convenient. My husband looked for heartburn meds before bed and she offered to check her personal belongings. We stayed at a Holiday Inn in St. Louis on our way to vacation, paid $179 for one night, and the room there was questionable at best with zero customer assistance. I will definitely choose Motel 6 in Hannibal again for our next stay! For the price, the service is outstanding and the rooms are perfectly comfortable and cleaned well!

The room had a musty smell and the refrigerator barely kept things cold, but it worked for drinks; I wouldn't have trusted it for food.
