The host prepared dinner for us, and we got to meet his family – very kind, very interesting, and they served authentic southern Tunisian food; they handled all our requests with great care, making this one of the most impressive moments of the trip. Highly recommended!
“Lot of room for improvement”
We didn't get breakfast, but the host kindly brought us coffee in the morning when we asked. The hosts are friendly and the house sits in a safe area, a bit away from the centre, which is actually good. However, there was no AC and it was unbearably hot, making it hard to sleep; the fan the host gave us was noisy and unusable at night; there was no toilet seat, no mirror in the bathroom, and when showering the water splashed everywhere, the tiles were slippery.
