The house was incredibly charming and the ideal spot to stay in Franschhoek. Nothing else to mention.

The place itself was excellent, and Mercia and Wessel made great hosts. My room felt very cozy. They stopped offering breakfast, but that didn't bother me. A café is just a short stroll, another a bit farther yet still nearby. Babylonstoren and La Motte are good for short hikes and wine tasting. I chose Ubers over the tram for more freedom, though the tram was pretty.

The room and house were very lovingly furnished. The host was super nice and welcomed us wonderfully. The walk to the Wine Tram Station is short and perfect. We really liked it – would come back anytime.

The host was kind and friendly and the bed was comfortable. It was a bit of a walk to get into Franschhoek.

Everything was absolutely nothing to dislike. The house, our room, the town, everything, everywhere you looked was pristine, beautiful, immaculate, adorable and with an eye to detail. Our room was upstairs. It was light and airy. We had a large king sized bed, nice bedding, dormir windows, bedside tables and lamps. There was a chair, an armoire, bench, desk, coffee/tea service and just outside our door on the landing, a fridge shared with our neighbors. The owner even put fesh milk in it for us all to use. The bathroom, like everything else, was well designed and beautiful. It was in a quiet, peaceful, stunning neighborhood, so our short walk to town was a delight. We had our own off street parking spot. Go to La Motte Farms/Winery for an amazing farm breakfast or lunch in a beautiful natural environment. Very reasonable. Hussar Grill (at the Marriott) for a delicious dinner, also at a reasonable price. Motherdough for a quick breakfast. Haute Charbriere Winery, for an amazing view of the Valley. Absolutely nothing. Perfection.
