“Probably best hotel I have stayed in, but of course you must pay for that, stunning location”

It’s a lovely property and location; make sure you arrive early to enjoy the grounds.

“Such a homely cozy place to stay”

The property and grounds are stunning; the staff are genuinely lovely and go above and beyond. Breakfast is great, bedrooms are good, and everything is spotlessly clean. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning—understandable given the building’s period.

“Disappointed”

The gardens are spectacular, maintained by two friendly gardeners who somehow find time for all the topiary. The downside is there was no reception; you had to ring the bell and were told no dinner was available, so we had to settle for a charcuterie board that was hugely overpriced. No one told us this would happen. Since it’s mainly a wedding venue, I wouldn’t recommend staying there.

“Incredibly comfortable room bed pillows, food was delicious. Staff was amazing. Would stay there again.”

The place is gorgeous, impeccably maintained, and super comfy, but there’s no real reception desk.
