The location in Bodhgaya was quiet and the staff were very friendly, and the food was freshly cooked and excellent.

“You dont get what you pay for. Very poor owners attitude”

Mainly quiet location near Root Institute for meditation. They offer room as "deluxe" which is an absolute exageration. Dirt all over the place. See the pics. Window and balcony door full of gaps, partially filled with paper. Shelves covered with newspaper. Kitchen as common room for guests rather dirty, even for indian standard. Door to bathroom cannot be closed. As low temperature outside, 6°C, asked owner for heater unit as I had got a cold. Room temperature at night 8°C. According to owner they don't provide any heater, but later found out they do. He gave us 2 blankets extra. Stayed there 10 days and felt simply ignored. Asked for a/c room and owners answer again was negative and contradiccionary.Owners attitude very questionable. Finally we left 2 days before, it was a bad energy we felt. Not the way to do business and treat guests. Very sad about such behaviour and experience. NOT RECOMMENDABLE AT ALL

I spent a couple of weeks at Suma Guest House and it was a positive experience overall. The room was tidy and there was always a hot shower, plus a lovely terrace upstairs. Anil and Rekha were caring and attentive, and Rekha’s cooking was excellent. The atmosphere was very homely and relaxed. The only downside was that the Wi‑Fi was sometimes unstable.
