We dined at a small tavern next to the village, where the service was wonderful, the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We really didn’t like the hotel for several reasons that happened to us. I feel compelled to write this review because there were several uncomfortable situations that I can’t ignore, and everything made our stay unpleasant, especially since it was my birthday celebration. First, on arrival the GPS misdirected us through the mountains and we spent 40 minutes on winding roads; we called to say we’d be 10 minutes late because reception closed at 21:00 and we arrived at 21:10. The receptionist told us to hurry because he was waiting for us, which forced us to drive faster and caused a lot of stress. Once we got there, other guests also arrived late and we waited 15 minutes to check in. The most serious issue was that our ground‑floor room had several spiders – one on the bed and four on the ceiling, plus two dead moths under the beds, and we also found another insect crawling on the floor; I sent a video to the hotel. We couldn’t remove all the spiders, so we had to sleep with them. We’re used to staying in hotels and mountain houses, and this never happened before. It caused a lot of stress. Also, when we stayed there we weren’t given a phone to call for urgent matters; we only had a WhatsApp number and no one responded. The next morning we just wanted to leave and not spend the second night we had left. The hotel only said we were in the countryside and it was normal to have a spider. The only solution they offered was to change rooms; they didn’t offer cancellation or a refund for the bad night we had. Disappointing.
