Benteng Taman Negara

The location right in front of the jungle was excellent, the bed was comfortable, and the room stayed cool thanks to a powerful air conditioner; the view from my window was priceless. However, the walls were very thin, so I could hear everything the guests in the neighboring rooms were doing, as well as the kitchen noises below my room.

“A great and convenient place to stay in Taman Negara!”

The room was clean and comfortable, the location was great for exploring Taman Negara, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Nothing special to mention—everything ran smoothly.

“No buena relación calidad precio”

The value for money was terrible compared to the previous place we stayed; it was ridiculously expensive for what it offered. The hotel was very noisy (the walls were made of plastic cardboard), there were ants, though that might be a minor issue. Overall it was very basic and not worth the 137RM we paid for two people for one night.

“Hotel muy básico pero bien ubicado para el parque”

The hotel is very basic but sits right in front of the pier to cross the river to the natural park. The rooms were very clean and we didn’t find any insects inside. It had a fan and air conditioning. We asked for a place to hang wet clothes and were told where they dry the sheets. The staff were very friendly. The bathroom in our room was very basic; there was no separation between the shower and the toilet, so you end up wetting everything when you shower, but that’s common in the country. There was no hot water. I found the lack of hangers to hang wet towels for three people. It felt a bit cramped. The bed had a lower sheet but was missing the top sheet. It would be good to include those and also replace the towels. The walls look like cigarette paper.
