Our hosts were fantastic! Nava and his wife made us feel right at home, served delicious dinners, answered every question, and arranged all our transport. The views were breathtaking!

Very friendly and helpful hosts, though they couldn't really plan activities for us because we didn't want the usual tourist stuff. The optional dinner is superb—one of the top 3 curries on our four‑week trip. The shower was warm. The room is simple but fair for the price, and the view is stunning. The main road nearby is noisy at night, and its steep incline forces drivers to speed, which disturbed us. The room lacks insulation, so we could hear everything, and the first night had long‑lasting music from the neighborhood.

The family was great, the guy let us borrow his motorcycle, and then took us from Ella to Galle. We stayed two nights in a quiet spot. The room had no sheets.
