A tiny, stylish hotel in a good spot with a spectacular view of the sea and Brighton Pier; the breakfast was pleasant, modest yet high‑quality, and everything was just perfect.

I was surprised to find that parking was not included in the price, which wasn’t clear when I booked.

“A really nice, comfortable hotel which we would highly recommend.”

The reception at Drakes was extremely good, very friendly, secured a parking space for me, and the overall welcome was really nice; the room offered a seafront view and was comfortable with everything we needed, couldn't have been better; breakfast was table service instead of the usual buffet, both well cooked and nicely delivered; overall, my wife and I could not fault Drakes … well done.

“Lovely little hotel and would definitely recommend”

Beautiful hotel, great location, fabulous view! The bath tub in the room is a lovely touch; not a dislike at all – but if you can’t walk up stairs, this isn’t the place for you!
