“Beautiful setting, terrible food”
The location is beautiful - in the middle of nowhere and the grounds are lovely to explore. Someone came to greet us after a few hours and told us to help ourselves to drinks that we’d pay for on check out so it was very relaxing. We booked here to have dinner as the reviews were so good, however upon arrival we were told there was no dinner. Fortunately we had picnic bits for the next day as there was no where walkable to go for dinner. There were no staff around to help when we arrived either. The breakfast was also very poor. Dry bread, off yogurt and no one around to help. The coffee machine stopped working so we couldn’t even have that. There were dead animal rugs on the floor which as a vegetarian wasn’t pleasant! And the sauna is in a little room in the house, infrared not stones
