“Jauks skats uz ezeru”

Great view of the lake from all rooms, at least from some angle, there’s a fireplace, TV, a grill outside, and a terrace with a roof. Everything as in the pictures! There isn’t much space, but you have to deal with a lot of noise and the fact that the lake is across the road, which isn’t exactly empty even during the holiday season. The host seemed super friendly and responsive, but expect that she speaks only partial Latvian.

I really liked the view and the location. Warm rooms and a charming fireplace. There were no basic cooking supplies: oil, salt, pepper, sugar, etc. Even tea wasn’t available on site. The surroundings could have been tidier.

The location. We wanted to explore this Latvian lakes area. The best part is the peace of the area and the garden. The house is too basic and not very comfortable. There are stools for eating, the bathroom is very old, the mattress is average… Also, a lot of light comes in from dawn because the curtains are very light and very pale. Not suitable for people bothered by light.
