Pensión Rustica Alemana

“Proprietaria fantastica, location molto comoda.”

The owner’s warm welcome and eagerness were truly fantastic! I especially enjoyed the generous, varied breakfast and the rare convenience of dropping off luggage after checkout. The spot in the city centre was perfect.

The spot by the port and restaurants is great. Anna, the hostess, was charming and served a lovely breakfast. The historic building is full of character.

“Para no volver”

The location was good. The room was in the attic. From sunrise the roof turns into a real colony of gulls, unbearable. If the owners know about this issue, they should not offer that room for rent.

“Not to be recommended at fiesta time”

We arrived a bit early for check‑in and told the unfriendly bar man we’d return later. Not a great start. Unfortunately, unrelated to the Pension, a party was happening that night nearby, so no one in the Pension slept because of extremely loud music (a DJ on a truck with a huge sound system). If you’re walking the Camino and need a good night’s sleep, check before staying here! The owner explained the next morning that she tried to get them to turn down the music and stop earlier (the music continued till 4 pm) but to no avail.

A stunning apartment in a superb location. The breakfast was good and the host, Ana, was very friendly. Highly recommended!
