The beach is close by, but the ground‑floor “luxury double” smelled awful, the noise level was high due to lack of insulation, the price was very steep for what we received, and there was no tea or coffee as a basic amenity.

Nothing good to mention. Everything was bad: the staff were very rude, the stay did not match the pictures, we didn’t receive water bottles for consecutive days (only one bottle per person once), there was no electricity on the second day and no backup power.

Everything was perfect! The view from the room is simply exceptional and beautiful, the balcony is large and very pleasant, and the room itself also has two bathrooms. The family is super friendly, and the location of the property is ideal, right across from the beach and next to several restaurants. We did everything on foot during our stay in Hiriketiya! We will return without hesitation.
