The location was perfect and the facilities were great; Steve was a fantastic host who went out of his way to make sure you had a comfortable and welcoming stay, and there was nothing negative.

The service was excellent from the moment we arrived; the bedroom was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a good choice and the food was lovely, and the location in the centre of Ambleside was ideal.
