The rooms were nice, but they were too expensive.

“Very nice pub, staff and food, spoiled only by 2 poor night's sleep.”

Breakfast was lovely and offered good value, and the staff were friendly. My only gripe was that the partitions between rooms were paper‑thin; we could hear the neighbors talk until 2 am, and when they stopped, we could hear them snore—like they were in our room. It made for dreadful nights. Please invest in better soundproofing!

“A good place to stay, when working away.”

There was plenty of parking, and the rooms were a good size, but no food was available.

“Lovely stay...Thank you”

Breakfast was delicious, cooked by Jo who was very friendly and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! Jo even moved our room from the 1st floor to the ground floor because one of us had severe visual impairment.

“Good value for money”

The room was clean and in a perfect spot for what we needed. It was a lovely evening, but the outdoor seating could use a bit of TLC at the back. The situation was great, just a little tired-looking. Also someone let their dog roam that side for a bathroom break and it pooped all around us, a bit smelly!
