The price was good for what it offered, the air conditioning worked, the room was spacious and clean, and there were no particular complaints; the hotel is 20 minutes from the centre.
The price matched what was offered, the bed was comfortable, and having breakfast the next day with water bottles was handy in the heat, and everything was always clean; the shower was broken and very slippery, and a knife for cutting fruit would have been useful, but otherwise it was fine.
“Lage in Wohngebiet/authentisch… sehr sauber… für kurzen Aufenthalt in jedem Fall gut… wenn man gern zu Fuß geht…”
The place was clean, the mattress was good, the neighbourhood felt authentic, Bar del Rose and Pizzeria Ricardo were nearby, and the supermarket was close; however, it was a 20‑25 minute walk by foot from the ships to Amalfi/Positano, the beach, the old town, and the train station, the basement was relatively dark with only neon light and motion sensors, the inner courtyard only had a view of the wall, the kitchenware was limited to three small spoons and three small knives for all three double rooms, the typical Italian breakfast offered a lot of rusks and croissants, cakes in plastic, a sweet spread, no kettle, and no knife to cut fruit, which was considered very individual, but they had made a great effort to make everything nice, it was very clean and practical but not cosy.
Everything was very clean and the staff were friendly.
“Ottimo posto”
The parking was a breeze, the room was spotlessly clean and welcoming, and the breakfast spread was generous with plenty of options. The only downside was that it was quite far from the seafront, though there were still nice bars and services around.
