“Hotel nuovo”

The new room was nice, but it was very noisy and cold. Breakfast was fine for Indonesians but not for Westerners.

“A Total rip of! We paid a higher price than walk inn, which is ok but than when we asked for an upgrade we paid 100 000”

The location is fine and the hotel is new, which is the only good thing. We paid a higher price than walking in, which is okay, but when we asked for an upgrade we were charged 100 000 ird while a sign at the desk said the rate difference was only 30 000. The staff don’t speak English and breakfast wasn’t tasty. The bathroom had a strong urine smell. The rooms don’t have windows.

The building is new, the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The hot water is strong and stable. The location is strategic. Parking is spacious and adequate. The hotel staff are responsive, and when I asked for an electric kettle, they delivered it with a cup. Overall it’s worth the price. I’ll stay here again if I go to Sibolga. Toiletries are inadequate, only a mini soap, two mini shampoo sachets, and no tissue in the closet (must ask). Wi‑Fi signal is only one point, slow, and keeps buffering. There’s no cup or electric jug (must ask first) and no tea or coffee in the room. Breakfast is so‑so. Front desk staff work from 7 am with no end time, but on the first day there was no 10 am service; they only had white rice, so they said if you want to wait they’ll add fried rice later. Other guests in groups like to chat and laugh loudly at midnight in the corridor, which is disturbing. There should be rules to maintain quiet and not to make noise.

Near parking and clean. No windows, no toilet paper, very basic Indonesian breakfast, and the breakfast facilities aren’t very clean.
