A very beautiful hotel in a perfect location, quiet and cozily furnished, the food was superb and the price was ridiculously good.

The staff were super welcoming, especially the hotel manager. Breakfast was tasty and the view of the Hahnen and the mountains was amazing. The only downside? There was no covered coat rack, just an open shelf.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and the breakfast and dinner were really good. We opened the balcony door because it was warm, and from 5 am the traffic on the street right in front of the hotel got pretty loud.

A nice place about ten minutes from Engelberg’s center, close to the ski slopes. The room was spotless and the housekeeper was lovely—she even brought me coffee when the restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday. The only hiccup was that the staff only spoke German, so I wasn’t told the restaurant and breakfast were shut on those days and had to decide at check‑in. We sorted it out eventually.
