A stunning place with a very zen vibe, traditional yet modern and comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke excellent English. The only thing we missed was the usual ryokan dinner; breakfast was okay—nothing memorable.

The property was lovely, rooms comfy, staff super friendly and helpful. We savored the Japanese‑style buffet breakfast, and the nearby tattoo‑friendly onsen was a great bonus.
