“Un endroit où je reviendrais!”
The room was well designed, functional, and comfortable even in a relatively small space. The location was quiet, and the check‑in was welcoming and quick. Nothing to report!

The hotel sits close to the city center and main roads to the Rockies, offering good value. Inside it feels a bit dated and can be noisy when other guests leave early in the morning. Wi‑Fi is a major issue, but you can survive a night without internet.

Everything was excellent: the accommodation was clean, spacious, and well‑heated. A truly peaceful mountain stay.

We could cook our own meals, though we didn’t use the kitchen; the property is reachable from the main road via Rocky Mountain House and Range Road 63; the bathrooms and guest rooms were very clean and clearly had some interior renovation; Fred was very helpful—after we encountered a huge porcupine on the range road he gave us a pair of pliers and an empty cup to remove and collect its quills, and when we asked for a broom and dustpan to sweep the needles off the ground he told us he would take care of them. Thank you for your assistance! The bed is only a full or double and tends to dip in the middle when both husband and wife sleep, which makes for an uncomfortable night; there is no night table on the left side of the bed to place a phone or glasses, but we could pull a dining table chair to use instead; we were asked to photocopy a driver’s license for incidentals that would be retained for a year because of incidents like guests taking the key at checkout—we understand why, but perhaps a mailbox on the door would let guests in a hurry drop off their keys.

The rates were cheap, but dogs were not allowed.
