Alexander does a good job keeping the place clean, and the location is excellent—close to public transportation, the BART and bus stops, the library, grocery store, Peet’s, and Starbucks all within walking distance on B Street. However, there was an Asian girl who showed signs of mental illness, and despite complaints from me and others, the admin and owner allowed her to extend her stay twice, causing me to suffer for an additional 28 days. I was constantly told by the admin and owner, and Alexander, that she wasn’t doing anything on camera, but I felt overly watched and gaslit. She would record people on her phone, act oddly in the bathroom, leave blood on walls and the toilet, and repeatedly put her belongings in others’ spaces. She set me up to look crazy, and I suspect she may have multiple personalities with narcissistic traits. The admin also shows narcissistic behavior. Other reviews warn about this. The two ladies don’t always dress modestly, walk around in towels, and flirt with male guests during prayer or work time, creating a passive‑aggressive environment. The refrigerator is a nightmare; the Asian girl tampered with other people’s food, which made me ill, as did another guest who got along well with me. I had bread from Peet’s in the fridge that was tampered with again.
